Local Knowledge: Yoxford Antique Centre and Gardens

Who in the Interior design world doesn't love shopping for antiques and finding vintage pieces? One of my favourite go to antique shops in Suffolk is just down the road from me in Yoxford, It is a very well known place to all who are interested in antiques and has a variety of objects. The centre houses over 70 different dealers so no part of the centre is the same, as you walk around you discover a different treasure trove to the last.

The main building houses the majority of the antiques, while the outside collection of beach huts houses the Arts & crafts area. Each one you can find a variety of homeware, art, garden tools as well as Sarah Reilly's whimsical collection of artwork and illustrations. Check out her work here.

The outside courtyard is a wonderful place just to spend a few hours, either sitting and enjoying The Flying Goose Cafe selling its delicious treats or browsing through some of the beautiful architectural and landscaping objects for sale.

After browsing for a couple of hours and purchasing a few beautiful items, we went for a walk around the beautiful 5 acre garden and saw the resident alpacas. The sun was beautifully warm to enjoy, it's very easy to spend a whole day here on a sunny day. If you wish to find out any more information about the Yoxford Antique Centre and Garden you can find it here.

Thanks for reading.
